ONEIDA COUNTY ARSON TASK FORCE
The Oneida County Arson Task Force was created in 1980 as a state mandated advisory group responsible for assisting county fire and law enforcement agencies in the fight against arson. Our group consists of fire, law enforcement and insurance professionals who meet on a monthly basis acting in an advisory capacity to our member agencies in Oneida County. For the past twenty five years, the Arson Task Force has sponsored an annual fall training seminar drawing attendees from all over NY State. Our presenters are comprised of local and national experts covering timely topics and important updates for our dedicated arson investigators and related professionals.
Another important sponsorship of the Oneida County Arson Task Force is the Tip Award Program. This program is designed to monetarily reward individuals who provide information leading to a successful arson arrest and conviction. We are proud to partner the Tip Award Program with Mohawk Valley Crime Stoppers. It is our belief that together we can even more effectively lead the fight against arson and other criminal activity in and around Oneida County, New York.
